Bio
I have been a psychotherapist at Growth Opportunity Center for over 12 years. In addition, I have performed various administrative and therapeutic services for various agencies, community mental health centers, and area colleges for over 20 years. Receiving her doctoral degree in 2012 from Chestnut Hill College, I have earned specializations in psychological trauma (at the Master’s level) and marriage and family counseling (at the Doctoral level) and attained post-graduate additional training in EMDR, which I use as my main approach to trauma healing and recovery. Having particular interests in the mind-body connection, I have also attained additional education, training, and learning in the areas of kinesiology, holistic health, somatic therapies, and most significantly, mindfulness and Buddhist psychology, which I utilize in my daily practice as well as her personal life. As such, I believe that a person’s strengths and challenges are best understood in the context of the whole being and I aim to compassionately partner with individuals to support them in making the changes they need to heal, grow, and thrive.
