Bio

I am a licensed psychologist and family therapist.  I work with children, teens, and adults to promote practical solutions for their issues. It has been my pleasure to practice at GOC since 1990.

Training & Modalities Used

I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my work with clients.  ACT is an evidence-based approach to problems in living.  If you would like to have a more valued and vital life, have issues or concerns you struggle with, and would like to reduce struggling and increase valued living, then ACT is for you.  I collaborate with my clients to promote psychological flexibility, which works nicely to help them get where they want to go.  I utilize the ACT Matrix to collaborate with clients to discover how to move toward who and what is important to them.

In addition to my work at GOC, I have worked extensively in crisis intervention, workplace wellness, and student support programs in urban and rural school settings. My hands-on, practical approach empowers professionals to implement immediately usable tools that foster clarity, adaptability, and meaningful action.

I have authored The ACT Matrix Laminated Guide, a widely used resource in schools. Since 2016, I have been an NJPSA consultant and ACT Matrix coach. I deliver comprehensive online and in-service training, equipping educators and professionals with practical strategies to support mental health, learning, and engagement.
