I am a Licensed Psychologist who believes in an individualized, holistic approach to therapy, recognizing that a person’s environment, relationships, and experiences all play a role in shaping their emotional and mental health. I prioritize creating a therapeutic relationship that is nurturing, safe, and nonjudgmental—where clients can be their authentic selves. My goal is to foster a collaborative space in which clients feel valued, heard, and empowered to explore all aspects of their lives.
Training & Modalities Used
My therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I have completed DBT foundational and intensive training through Behavioral Tech (Dr. Linehan) and have completed advanced trainings, including DBT for Adolescents and Families with Dr. Miller and Dr. Rathus and DBT Brief Family Interventions in Crisis and Beyond with Dr. Fruzzetti.
Combining these evidence-based practices, I help clients recognize and change negative thought patterns, develop emotional regulation skills, and enhance coping strategies. I work collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, empowering them to manage distress, regulate emotions, and improve interpersonal relationships. Ultimately, I support clients in building a life that is meaningful and worth living.
