Bio
After completing my post-doctoral training in 1995, I began my work at Growth Opportunity Center doing family therapy and psychological assessment. Within a few years, I began supervising doctoral students in psychological assessment and therapy, and I helped GOC develop into a training site for students from Chestnut Hill College. After serving as Executive Director from 2012- 2023, I happily settled into the Clinical Director role where I continue to supervise clinical staff and students and work with a small caseload of clients.
Training & Modalities Used
I was trained in structural family therapy and continue to use this modality in my work with children with disruptive behavioral disorders. When working with adults, I take an integrative approach that includes psychodynamic, interpersonal problem-solving, and internal family systems, while taking into account neurodevelopmental factors that contribute to behavioral and emotional dysregulation.
