Bio
As a licensed marriage and family therapist, my goal is to help individuals, couples and families identify their strengths and struggles. By creating a safe and supportive space, I am there to guide clients in gaining insight, tools, and coping mechanisms to help manage stress and challenges in their lives.
Training & Modalities Used
My years of experience working in a residential program treating substance use disorders has provided me with a specific skill set in helping those in various stages of recovery. My background in human sexuality allows me to help individuals and couples explore these areas in a safe and nonjudgmental space. Therapy modalities that I use include Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). A lot of time is spent helping my clients heal, set and maintain boundaries, and learn to prioritize self-care.
