I am a Licensed Psychologist in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Florida, and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. I also have Psypact certification. I earned my Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and Doctorate in School Psychology from Temple University. For over two decades, I have worked with children, adolescents, and young adults in schools and clinical settings. I have also been working with adults for the last 15 years. I have frequently worked with individuals on the Autism spectrum and individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship and adjustment issues, and learning, executive functioning, and/or attention difficulties.
I have had extensive training in psychological and psychoeducational assessment and hold diplomate status with the American Board of School Neuropsychology. I enjoy helping clients learn about their individual strengths and needs through assessments. My approach to therapy is eclectic. I have had extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
I strongly believe that everyone struggles to navigate life’s twists and turns and could benefit from therapeutic support at times to learn to cope with life’s challenges. We are all works in progress and can grow from our experiences and the way we handle them. I meet clients where they are. I view each client holistically, taking into consideration all aspects of their lives and functioning, as well as their areas of strength and their environmental supports and stressors.
We are all human and everyone has a unique profile of strengths and challenges. I believe that successful therapy is based on a solid and trusting relationship between therapist and client. I feel privileged and honored to know and work with her clients and have great respect and appreciation for their goals, values, and experiences. I am dedicated to working with clients so that they realize their potential, are true to their values, and reach their goals. Through learning self-awareness, coping skills, and how to listen to their own inner wisdom, clients can better navigate life’s challenges and lead lives full of meaning and purpose.
