Bio
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned my Master’s degree from Delaware Valley University with a focus in Social Justice and Advocacy. I have worked in community-based and outpatient settings with children and adolescents ages 5-18, as well as with adults and families. I strive to approach my clients with compassion and understanding in order to foster a strong therapeutic relationship. I have experience working with a wide variety of presenting problems, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorders, and more. Most importantly, I want to meet clients where there are and create a safe, positive environment for them to explore and grow.
Training & Modalities Used
I approach all my clients from a person-centered and trauma-informed lens, and try to tailor sessions to each client’s specific needs and goals. I employ various skill-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, as well as utilizing play, art, and narrative therapies when appropriate.
