Bio

I am a Master of Social Science student at Bryn Mawr College’s Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, currently doing my advanced year internship at Growth Opportunity Center, providing assessments and psychotherapy. My main interests are working with individuals who want to reclaim themselves from the effects of stress, trauma/PTSD, anxiety/panic attacks, depression, self-esteem/confidence issues, (co-)dependency or relationship issues, or combinations of those. In 2024, I retired from the insurance industry, in which I worked for 42 years.

There is a way out of suffering. I would be honored to help you reclaim your mental, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.

Training & Modalities Used

I draw on a strengths-based approach and use grounding/somatic, mindfulness, meditation, and self-compassion work to help clients safely reclaim their own regulated and regulating, peaceful, joyful, unique, and beautiful true self.  I rely on trauma-informed principles of safety, trustworthiness, transparency, collaboration, and empowerment. I tune into cultural, social, political, economic, and other intersectional issues such as sexual orientation and gender identity, and am an LGBTQIA+ ally.

I have taken Frank Anderson’s Intensive Workshop: Treating Complex Trauma with Internal Family Systems Therapy and Deb Dana’s Creating a Sanctuary Within course.
